I heard back from Mary Mitchell-Donahue at Greenbelt Arts Center. She said we were just waiting for Sam French to get back to us.
I hadn’t heard anything, and being the patient soul I am (heh), I couldn’t wait anymore, and I called Sam French myself. I have a verbal approval from them, pending the receipt of our faxed request (to replace the email form version).
So, as far as I’m concerned, we’re there!
I’ve got a press release sitting on my computer, waiting for review and input. As soon as it returns, I’ll be faxing the release to a whole bunch of places, including at least 10 newspapers.
In the meantime, please put the following dates into your calendar and pass the word around! You are free to forward this email message as necessary.
Next meeting: June 25, 2005, 1pm, my house. Agenda: Auditions, design team, rehearsals, etc. Also looking for art for the program and press pieces. Directions available on request.
Auditions: Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28, at 7:30pm at the Greenbelt Arts Center, 123 Centerway, Greenbelt, MD.
Needed:
5 males (incl. one 14 yr. old)
4 females (incl. one 6 yr old)
5 either M/F, depending on casting
Cold reading.
Performances: Friday-Sunday, September 23-25, September 29-30 and Oct. 1, 2005.
